We extend our sincere sympathy to Mr. R. V. Cannon in the death of his sister, Mrs. Stella Long. Mrs. Long died Tuesday, January 26, 2010. funeral services were held Saturday, January 30, 2010 in Millington. We also extend our sincere sympathy to Mr. & Mrs. Phillip Baird and family in the death of Phillip's father, Mr. Fletcher Baird. Mr. Baird died Friday, January 29 2010. Funeral services will be held today at 3:00 P.M. at Lea & Simmons Funeral Home. Burial will be in Harmony Baptist Cemetery.
We would like to express our appreciation for your
thoughtfulness and concern you have shown us in words and deeds during
our health problems. The many cards, calls, food, visits, and
prayers were a comfort in our time of need. We were grateful for
Bro. Bob's visits to the hospital, also Bro. Davie McClanahan carried me
to get some groceries and our mail. Continue to remember us in
your prayers.

WOMEN OF JOY CONFERENCE April 16-18, 2010
If you are interested in going, there are
only 6 spots left for this trip. The trip cost is $134.00, plus
gas and food.
Please be in prayer for our UPWARD BASKETBALL PROGRAM This week, February 3rd-5th, there will be NO practices. This Saturday, February 6th, make up games will be played. The regular basketball schedule will start again the following week, Saturday, February 13th. Thank you for your continued support.
YOUTH DISCIPLE NOW Our annual Disciple-Now Weekend will be on Friday - Sunday, February 19-21. We will spend the weekend exploring the sequence of being a Christ-follower. We will have small group Bible studies, large group worship times, classic recreation, and the much anticipated scavenger hunt. Students may go by the church office to sign up and pay the $10 fee to reserve your spot. Friends and guests are welcome. Church members can support us by praying and bring baked goodies and drinks. Contact Millie Richards or Lindy Joyner if you can bring snack items. ------------------------ Youth Super Bowl Party All youth are invited to join us for fellowship and devotion at the Russell's home, 414 Preston Drive, Sunday night, February 7th. We will watch the big game, eat great food, and hear testimonies about how God can work in our lives. This free event begins at 5:00 p.m. so bring a friend and join us! ------------------------------ BOYS CHURCH LEAGUE BASKETBALL This Friday night, Feb 6th BBC team #1 will be playing CIA White at 6:00 p.m. and BBC team #2 will be playing Poplar Corner Church team #2 at 9:00 p.m.

Sunday, February 14th Family Life Center immediately following the morning worship service. This is a catered lunch and the only thing required of you is to sign up prior to February 14th in your Sunday School Class. For those who do not attend Sunday School, there will be a sign up sheet in the sanctuary. Please make sure you sign up so we will have plenty for everyone!
