Rev. Bob Connerley

    For the past Twenty-one years, Brother Bob Connerley has been pastor of Brownsville Baptist Church and under his leadership the church has grown physically and spiritually under his spiritual leadership.  Utilizing prayer as a guide post and spirit filled Bible study, Bro. Bob has been responsible for hundreds of decisions and dedications to Jesus Christ by his Bible based and spirit filled sermons.  The church presently recently completed a rebuilding program of the church sanctuary, installed new stained glass windows in the sanctuary,  refurbished the Moehler Organ and purchased a new Steinway piano.  Bro. Bob has led the charge to form F.A.I.T.H. program in the church with over 100 graduates of the program.

Rev. Mike Young 

    Our most recent addition to our staff is Bro. Mike Young, an accomplished mission minded leader who has been working in numerous churches in establishing worship experiences in areas of under development and inner city areas.  Bro. Mike has already become deeply involved in the preaching, teaching and mission of our student ministry to make the "youth place" a live, vivid Christian experience.

Rev. Walter Gregory Brinks

   Brownsville Baptist's leader of the music worship experience is Bro. Walter Brinks, who joins us from  Hueytown, Alabama.   Bro Walter is a graduate of the University of Montevallo and has been active as a minister of music for twelve years and is  bringing his musical talents to developing our choir programs, visitation programs, F.A.I.T.H. ministry and  spearheading the drama program at our church.  

Mrs. Cheryl Halliburton

    Mrs. Halliburton serves as administrative assistant, who prepares our correspondence, The Weekly Visitor, Bulletins, reservations, contact lists, and other numerous responsibilities.  She has been recently hired to serve as one of our most responsible staff members keeping the church office running smoothly.   Cheryl is married to Tommy Halliburton and is an active member of our church family.

Ms. Betty Jo Goff

     Miss Betty Jo Goff is also a lifetime member of Brownsville Baptist and serves as our financial secretary and records secretary.  Betty has been a secretary and treasurer for numerous private businesses prior to joining the staff of Brownsville Baptist, and devotes long hours and meticulous service in the day to day operation of our church.  She recently celebrated her twentieth anniversary as our financial secretary. 

Mrs. Jan Yates

       Mrs. Jan Yates serves as our Outreach Secretary.   Jan is responsible for our F. A. I. T. H. Evangelism through the Sunday School ministry.  F.A.I.T.H. involves ministry and evangelistic visitations in which she organizes the visits, teams, and keeps records of visits.   Many have been ministered to and many lives have been changed for eternity through this ministry.  Jan is also responsible for other secretarial tasks in our office.   Jan has been a member of BBC for 14 years and has been serving as Outreach Secretary since January 2006.   During the church's search for a minister of music during 2008, Jan served as the choir director for our Christmas Carols presentations in 2007 and 2008.
